2. Jim Harbaugh’s days might be numbered

Coming into this week, Jim Harbaugh was already on the hot seat according to many people who work in college football. After this latest loss to Wisconsin his seat just got a little bit warmer.

After back-to-back losses, you would expect a little bit more fight out of the Wolverines to help back their coach but the fight is just not there at the moment. This is now three weeks in a row where Michigan has lost in lopsided fashion.

It’s hard to imagine that only a few months ago people were talking about Michigan competing for a Big Ten championship and a New Year’s Six appearance under Harbaugh in 2020. Those days are long gone.

The deciding factor on if Harbaugh comes back could come down to how they play against rival Ohio State to finish off the regular season. If the Wolverines win, maybe he saves his job. But if they get embarrassed on national television again, he could be packing his bags shortly after the final whistle.
