3. Brock Purdy is playing like the Brock Purdy we know

There have been concerns on the season about Purdy’s questionable decision making. Coming into the game ranked 48th in QBR and tied for 98th in interceptions, with six. However, ever since the second half of the Baylor game, Brock Purdy has been playing on a different level.

Purdy would go on to score six touchdowns and zero interceptions over the past six quarters and having quarterback play at that high of a level is so crucial.

Purdy would finish his day with 236 yards on 16-of-20 passing and three touchdowns. He also added 59 yards on the ground, with seven carries.

The rest of the slate won’t be easy as Iowa State has much better competition ahead with Texas and West Virginia on the horizon. With the confidence that Purdy has oozing at the moment, that could very well translate throughout the rest of the season.
