won 63-3 vs. Kentucky. 1. player. Scouting Report. 7-0. Alabama Crimson Tide. 829. Pick Analysis

Alabama kept themselves in the driver’s seat of the SEC West race, throttling Kentucky 63-3 at home on Saturday evening to improve to 7-0 in the standings. As the last undefeated team standing in the SEC, the Crimson Tide will open at No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings. After missing the field for the first time last year, Nick Saban’s team is back on track to return to the semifinals in 2020.

Mac Jones had another strong performance at quarterback for the Tide, completing 16 of his 24 passes for 230 yards and two scores. Najee Harris churned out 83 yards and two rushing scores, though it was Jase McClellan who led the way on the ground for Alabama with 99 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. The Crimson Tide defense proved as stout as ever, holding Kentucky to just 179 total yards as a team.

With three games remaining Alabama is on track to go undefeated in the 10-game SEC season — if their game against LSU gets rescheduled. With the Tigers already slated to play on December 12 in a makeup game against Florida, it is more likely that the Tide head to Atlanta for the SEC championship game as a 9-0 program after projected wins at home against Auburn in the Iron Bowl and in the regular-season finale at Arkansas.
