1. Georgia’s ground game returned in full force

Much like its defense, Georgia’s ground game did not play well last week and it was not a very balanced offense. This week was a much different story as Georgia got back to running the ball well and not having to rely on big plays through the air from JT Daniels.

James Cook led the way with over 100 yards and two touchdowns while averaging a gaudy 17 yards per carry. Zamir White was a good complement to the speedy Cook and had over 80 yards and a touchdown himself. Kenny McIntosh had one of his best games running the football, as did Daijun Edwards.

Georgia is a better team when it can be a balanced offense and the running game showed how good it could be on Saturday night against South Carolina.
