1. Feleipe Franks wins national comeback player of the year

The comeback player of the year award isn’t exactly the most coveted in college football, but Feleipe Franks is going to take it home and put the rest of the country on notice.

Franks is having a career season with Arkansas after transferring in from Florida following an injury during his junior year. He was injured against Kentucky early in the season and was replaced by Kyle Trask who has done nothing but secure QB1 in Gainesville. Franks knew that he needed to look elsewhere if he planned on starting in 2020.

Arkansas has been the fresh start he needed and he’s been leading a surprising team that has three SEC wins this season after having a total of zero in 2018 and 2019.

Franks has a career-high 68 percent completion rate to go along with 2,017 yards and 17 touchdowns and only four interceptions.

If Franks doesn’t win comeback player of the year after suffering a year-ending injury and coming back stronger than he was before at a new school, I don’t know who will.
