1. Oregon (at Cal)

I was firmly on the Cal bandwagon, and to be quite honest, they’ve sucked this year. That doesn’t mean I’m off that wagon.

Oregon’s playoff hopes were erased when Oregon State upset the Ducks last week. The defense is really what for the Ducks in trouble.

Cal hasn’t won a game yet. The offense has been missing. But against a Ducks defense giving up 38.5 points and 457 yards per game? This could be the breakout game Cal is looking for.

Of course, that starts with Chase Garbers, the reason Cal was so good last year. He’s been very average in 2020 and has only throw for over 150 yards once this year. Cal still has weapons, and against a prone Ducks defense they can take off.

Don’t sleep on California’s running back Damien Moore, who exploded on the scene last week with 121 yards against Stanford. With what Jermar Jefferson did to Oregon last week, we know the Ducks run defense is ripe for the picking as well.
