2. ATH James Williams

James Williams is the second highest rated prospect in Miami’s recruiting class and is one of the most athletically gifted prospects in the entire country.

At 6’5, 220 LBS, Williams is a physically imposing prospect that also has excellent ball skills as a safety. He is classified as an athlete, but he will probably be lining up at safety for the Hurricanes and he could see a lot of time next fall, due to his exceptional athleticism.

Williams is going to be the most talented defensive back from the moment he steps on campus and with some of the uneven play from Miami’s safeties this season, Williams could see playing time in the first game against Alabama next season.

With guys like Bubba Bolden thinking of going to the NFL and Amari Carter and Guervan Hall not living up to expectations, expect James Williams to see the field early and often next season for the Miami Hurricanes.
