1. DT Leonard Taylor

The highest rated recruit in the Hurricanes class according to 247 sports, Leonard Taylor is one of the best defensive linemen in the country and he will have a huge opportunity to step in and earn playing time.

Like James Williams, Taylor will be the most talented interior defensive linemen from the time that he steps on campus and will push some of the underachieving guys like Jon Ford, Jason Miller and Jason Blissett for playing time.

One of Miami’s main contributors at defensive tackle, Nesta Silvera could be going to the NFL and that could open the door for Taylor to come in right away and earn a spot in the rotation.
