Scouting Report. 46. Pick Analysis. WR. Purdue. Rondale Moore. 21. player

Just one pick after one elite Big Ten receiver is chosen, the Colts could go with another from the conference in Purdue’s Rondale Moore.

If not for an injury in 2019 that cut his season way short (he played in just four games) and three games played in 2020, we might be talking about Moore as a top-10 pick, but he’s still a first-rounder in my mind and the Colts could use some depth there.

Well, the Colts could use a quarterback and a defensive back, but receiver seems like a safe option at No. 21 overall.

T.Y. Hilton hasn’t looked like his old self all year and Zach Pascal showed flashes of potential, but the future seems to be Michael Pittman and he could use a complementary target. Moore is a speedy slot type and he’d help create the perfect 1-2 punch with Pittman and would give defenses another threat to worry about.

Colts fans would rejoice at the idea of keeping Moore in the state after he starred at Purdue. We got to see his real potential when he was an All-American as a freshman with 114 catches for 1,258 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also rushed for 213 yards and two scores and returned kicks and punts. Moore is electric.
