Tight End

Starter: Jahleel Billingsley

Backup: Major Tennison

Alabama has grown accustomed to putting out athletic tight ends in the last few years with guys like OJ Howard and Irv Smith.

Jahleel Billingsley will be next in the line of Alabama tight ends and should be a favorite target for new quarterback Bryce Young.

Billingsley is very athletic and moves around the field well. While he was not used a lot due to Alabama having guys like Devonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle to throw too, Bilingsley had some big moments, especially in this years Rose Bowl vs Notre Dame.

The backup spot should be Major Tennison’s to lose. Billingsley will get the bulk of the snaps at tight end, but Tennison should see time on the field and will have a chance to make an impact.

Tight end has been an underrated position at Alabama due to their receiver talent, but these guys are really good and will be a huge mismatch for any defense.
