Four big-time recruits

Thomas Fidone is the name that jumps out at you when you first look at Nebraska football’s recruiting class and that’s because he could be Frost’s best signee.

Fidone is 6-foot-5, 225 pounds and he’s an elite pass catcher. I’d be shocked if he didn’t make an early impact with the Huskers next season. He’s got that kind of ability and getting him out of Iowa, especially when others like Michigan were heavily involved, was a big win.

Keeping 6-foot-8 offensive Teddy Prochazka at home in Nebraska was huge too. He’s ranked 242 overall in the 2021 class and 18th among offensive tackles. He’s got NFL potential and is another who could compete for time right away.

Henry Lutovsky, the Huskers other top-500 recruit is a 6-foot-6 offensive guard and honestly, you have to like the size Nebraska added up front on both sides of the ball.

Randolph Kpai is another special kid. He really has a chance to be an exciting player in this defense and he’s got the ability to rush and cover as an outside linebacker. He’s tough too and he was a national recruit out of South Dakota. The Huskers also got a really solid linebacker in Wynden Ho’ohuli, a 6-foot-3, 220-pounder who is ranked 153rd overall and didn’t even have a senior season.

He committed to Nebraska in the late period and was the cherry on top of a tremendous linebacking group.
