Mike Norvell is entering year two and while year one was slightly disappointing, finishing 3-6, the Seminoles should have a decent bounce-back and contend for a bowl game for the first time in a couple of years.

For years, Florida State was a staple of bowl season but that has changed in recent years due to the coaching changes and uncertainty.

We’ll see if the Seminoles get back to the postseason, but they’ll have a shot to make an early statement with a win over Notre Dame and that’ll look to be on the verge of happening before Tyler Buchner takes over in the second half and leads a comeback which ends with a last-minute field goal to win.

Kyren Williams will run through this poor defense with 150 yards and Buchner will be the second-half go-to quarterback and he’ll finish with nearly 200 yards and a couple of big touchdowns.

This will be a great way to kick off the season.

Final Score: Notre Dame 30, Florida State 27 (1-0)
