Week 11: Texas A&M at Ole Miss

Texas A&M was rolling a season ago and avoided Ole Miss due to COVID-19 protocols on both sides. There will be no avoiding this matchup now though and both of these teams will be looking for a win that could get them a spot in the top of the West, depending on how matchups with Alabama go earlier in the season.

This is an extremely exciting matchup that everyone should be ready to tune into as the season winds down.

Honorable Mention: Arkansas at LSU

Is Arkansas any good? Probably not, but we don’t know much about LSU either and the Tigers are coming off just about the worst season we have seen out of them in at least a decade. Who knows how this one will turn out, but I know I’ll be tuning in to see.

Week 12: Auburn at South Carolina

This was a hard week to choose games from. I’ll be honest about that. However, this one was actually a close matchup a year ago and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it close again.

Auburn is a talented team with some questions across the offensive line and South Carolina is breaking in a new coach and looking to ruin someone’s season.

Could hosting Auburn be the recipe for an upset?

Honorable Mention: Florida at Missouri

I have no idea what to expect out of Emory Jones and Florida this year and Missouri actually looks like a competent football team. This one could be a lot closer and more exciting than anyone believes.

Look for Florida to come out with a win but Missouri will be ready to put up a fight.

Week 13: Texas A&M at LSU

I have this game circled on my calendar. While many think the Alabama game will be season-defining for Texas A&M, I think this trip to Death Valley is more likely to be the one that could change things for the Ags.

A 10-2 team will not sniff the playoff and may not even be good enough to make a New Year’s Six bowl. This game will decide for the Aggies once and for all if they are here to stay or if they are going to once again let LSU ruin their chances at the promised land.

Honorable Mention: Alabama at Auburn

The Iron Bowl being at Jordan-Hare is exciting for Auburn fans as they feel they have a real chance to upset the Tide to end the season. Do I see it happening? Not necessarily, but crazier things have happened throughout a college football season, so I wouldn’t count out the Tigers.
