SEC Football Power Rankings: Alabama, Georgia open 2021 on top

The Gators sit at No. 4, but there is a big gap between them at the top three, in my opinion. Emory Jones is a question mark at quarterback until I see him make a strong debut and FAU is the perfect opportunity to do just that. However, he has a number of weapons that are no longer there including Kyle Pitts and Kadarious Toney.
Will the Gators be able to find a spot atop the East again or will that be Georgia’s crown to lose?
Texas A&M has a strong case to be the top seed in this conference by the time it is all said and done. The schedule is favorable and things seem to be looking up for the team who just gave their head coach an extension that pays him almost as much as the Tide pays Nick Saban.
It all hinges on offensive line play and how Haynes King works out though, so things will be interesting in Aggieland, to say the least.
