Team of the Week: Prairie View A&M Panthers

The Prairie View A&M Panthers got their season started off with a win over their rival Texas Southern Tigers.

This was their seventh consecutive over Texas Southern and their third straight win in their season opener.

The Panthers continue to build what was the best offense in the conference in the 2019 season with wide receivers Jailon Howard and Antonio Mullins posting the two highest receiving yards totals in the conference this weekend.

If Prairie View’s offense continues to get better and they remain consistent on the defensive end, they can certainly become a darkhorse contender in the SWAC.
