Dishonorable Mentions:

Ohio State: vs Oregon:  The reason this game is only a mention as opposed to a full-blown upset alert is the same reason as Clemson/Georgia last week: Would Oregon winning *really* be an upset? Yes, but by no means would it be a shocker. The big question: does Kayvon Thibodeaux play?

Pitt: @ Tennessee:  Tennessee is a 3 point favorite at home against Pitt. A lot of people are going to be surprised by that for the simple fact that it’s something that shouldn’t happen. But once you realize Pitt probably has the best player on the field in Kenny Pickett, it makes sense. But this is a new era of Tennessee football, and a lot of this will come down to the arm of the Volunteers’ Joe Milton.

Virginia: vs. Illinois: If Illinois wants to pull this upset, the defense simply has to be better and the run game has to crack a defensive line that was unbreakable last week. Yes, Virginia only beat William & Mary last week, but holding any team to 183 yards of total offense is impressive. Brett Bielema’s teams have surprised us before and this game would be big for regaining momentum for the Illini.

Arizona: vs. San Diego State: Should Arizona really be favored here? They’re in a complete rebuild but played well against BYU in a loss last week. San Diego State is a contender in the Mountain West. Do not be surprised when San Diego State runs all over the Wildcat defense.
