844. . 2-0. Previous: 12th. Razorbacks . 8. team

Arkansas jumps up three spots to No. 8 in the conference after a convincing win over the Longhorns at home. Could they have jumped up more spots? Sure, especially with the fact that Texas was ranked No. 15 at the time, however, I just don’t think Texas was all that good to start with.

We will really see where Arkansas ranks out when they face off against Texas A&M in a couple of weeks, but right now they prepare for Georgia Southern.

833. . 2-0. Previous: 7th. Wildcats . 7. team

Kentucky stays put at No. 7 after a win over Missouri to open the SEC football slate. They are shocking the college football world with how consistent and strong they are so far this season.

Things get tougher from here though as the SEC East slate continues.

They do have Chattanooga first, though, which should be an easy tune-up game for the Wildcats and Will Levis before anything serious begins.
