11. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (1-1)

In Week 1, the Yellow Jackets took a bad loss to the Northern Illinois Huskies and rebounded against FCS Kennesaw State last week. For Georgia Tech, things do not get any easier with a game against No. 6 Clemson looming this weekend.

Not only do they travel to Death Valley East to take on the Tigers, but they might also be without Jeff Sims. The latter participated in warm-ups against Kennesaw State but would only be used in an emergency.

Luckily the emergency might be against Clemson this weekend.

10. Louisville Cardinals (1-1)

The Cardinals were also a team that rebounded from an opening weekend loss. The Cardinals were defeated handily by the Mississippi Rebels; Eastern Kentucky was a welcomed opponent last weekend.

This season is a good test for the Cards. They lost three NFL-level players on offense, something the Cardinals have not dealt with in a long time. Head coach Scott Satterfield has likely never dealt with this coming from Appalachian State.

The Cardinals have another challenging game, hosting the UCF Knights this Friday night.

9. NC State Wolfpack (1-1)

The Wolfpack were thought of by most as a sleeper 10-win team in the ACC this fall. However, after a loss to Mississippi State, that might be in danger for the Wolfpack. NC State did outgain Mississippi State in the game, but three interceptions and a host of other miscues derailed the game for the Wolfpack.

Losing linebacker Payton Wilson and safety Cyrus Fagan for the season does not help the Wolfpack either. After hosting FCS power Furman, the Wolfpack host Clemson on September 25th.
