Big 12 Football power rankings: TCU pushing Oklahoma for top spot
Record in last 5 games: 5-0
Total offense conference rank: 3
Total defense conference rank: 5
Max Duggan had arguably his best game with the Horned Frogs this past Saturday. Duggan had four total touchdowns, proving to be a threat in the air and on the ground.
Zach Evans also exploded for his best game at TCU with nearly 200 yards from scrimmage. Evans and Duggan combined for 254 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
TCU’s defense gave up 30-plus points for the first time since October of last year. Its biggest issue against Cal was limiting the big plays. TCU allowed four passes by Chase Garbers to go for 40-plus yards.
They will definitely need to tighten up against the deep passing game with just one non-conference game left. Regardless, TCU has got off to a very nice start and are poised to be an issue for Oklahoma and the rest of the Big 12.
Next Game: vs. SMU (Week 4)

Oklahoma has put up 116 points in 120 minutes of game action thus far. While these are not the stronger opponents that the Sooners will face coming up, it does show the potential of what this offense can be.
Spencer Rattler had five touchdowns against Western Carolina to help pad his Heisman resume. Rattler will have to display this production against Power Five opponents as well in order to become a serious candidate for the award.
The Sooners will welcome in a Power Five opponent and a familiar foe in Nebraska. This game will have a lot of history and tradition behind it. But for Oklahoma, their only concern is the future and what this win could do for them going forward.
