5. Indiana (+145 ML) vs. Cincinnati

Taking the moneyline in this one will end up paying off more than the 3.5-point spread that favors Cincinnati. I think the Hoosiers are due for a big game and after losing to Iowa in the opener and handling Idaho in Week 2, Michael Penix and Co. are ready to make some noise.

Should I be this confident in Indiana moneyline against Cincinnati? Probably not, but this would be one of those rare Power Five over Group of Five upsets, and Indiana was expected to be one of the top teams in college football to start the season. People seem to forget that the Hoosiers were ranked to start the year before getting suffocated offensively by Iowa.

Iowa could end up having one of the best defenses in the country this year and Cincinnati’s unit isn’t going to be quite as good on that side of the ball.

This could still be a low-scoring affair, but Penix is due for a breakout game and Bloomington will be rocking for this monster matchup.

There’s no better way to climb back into the AP Top 25 than by beating the No. 8 team in the country on your home field. With +145 odds, this would be a nice payout.
