Notre Dame Football: 3 players who deserve game balls vs Purdue
Safety Kyle Hamilton
Kyle Hamilton is a stud. There is no other way to say it. The safety really is a playmaker out there for the Irish.
It really seems like every week when you watch Notre Dame you find yourself just saying wow multiple times after Kyle Hamilton does something great again. Maybe that is just me, but I doubt I am the only one doing this every Saturday watching Hamilton out there on the field.
Hamilton is just a ball hawk and always seems to find himself in the right place at the right time for Notre Dame. Kyle Hamilton finished the game with 10 total tackles and an interception against Purdue.
The interception late in the game was a great play by Hamilton, but the play that was spectacular was on a 4th down stop in the first half of the game against Purdue.
Purdue decided to line up and go for it on 4th and short in the first half. Purdue quarterback Jack Plummer handed the ball off to receiver TJ Sheffield on a jet sweep and what many predicted would be enough to pick up the first down. Well everybody not named Kyle Hamilton as he flew to the ball to stop the Purdue receiver from getting the first down.
Hamilton has the speed, the size, and just the football knowledge to succeed out there on the field. I was going to say find me a better safety in the country than Kyle Hamilton, but I will save you the trouble to find one because there is not one better safety right now not named Kyle Hamilton.
