LSU stays put after a big win over Central Michigan. The Tigers showed that they may be back on the right track after falling to UCLA to open the season, but things aren’t fully on the up and up just yet.

They face off against Mississippi State this week in a rematch of last season’s loss and they have to win that one to continue their trek back up to where the Tigers believe they should be.

Kentucky was riding high until everything just about came crashing down against Chattanooga. They came out victorious, but they were exposed and as a result, they fall down two spots in this week’s power rankings.

They face off against a failing South Carolina team on Saturday, but this game will be anything but easy if they could barely handle last week’s opponent.
