Defense/momentum

As we discussed earlier, Arkansas football has a stout defense in its own right and the Razorbacks are best at stopping the run, which is where A&M excels.

Isaiah Spiller and Devon Achane have been the most consistent weapons for the Aggies offensively but Arkansas is tough in the trenches and they will make A&M win with the quarterback.

Zach Calzada has improved and looked much better in last week’s win over New Mexico. But this Arkansas team just has the mojo right now and you can’t discount confidence and momentum in college football.

A&M barely escaped Colorado with a win and in all honesty, the Aggies probably should have lost the game they won 10-7. Arkansas, on the other hand, is on a roll and has been firing on all cylinders.

It just seems like they are a little sharper than Texas A&M right now, although it just takes one afternoon to change that. The fact that it’s on a neutral field also helps the Hogs and the atmosphere is going to be electric.

There is no love lost between these programs and this game won’t be for the faint at heart, which is exactly why Pittman’s Razorbacks can pull it out in the end.
