1. Last Week was not a Fluke

It was fair to expect a bit of a letdown performance for Florida football after coming so close to beating Alabama.

Tennessee has a dangerous offense that can be explosive and they showed that ability early on in this game. However, Florida settled in and played really good defense in the second half and ran away with this game behind their defense and ground game. In a day with so many upsets, it has to feel good for Florida to get a win at home over a division rival.

After last week, Florida was getting a lot of praise for how it played and some even thought the Gators should move into the top ten after their performance vs Alabama. Florida looked the part of a top-10 team tonight and they should be getting better and building towards what might be the biggest game of the year in college football against Georgia in Jacksonville.
