3. Oklahoma (7-0)

Week 7 result: Defeated TCU 52-31

Caleb Williams is really good at football. That’s the one takeaway I have from Oklahoma’s game vs TCU. Lincoln Riley made his decision on the quarterback situation and it seems to be the right one so far.

This team looks rejuvenated and the offense has been virtually unstoppable since Williams replaced Rattler as the quarterback. Everything about this kid has impressed me so far and he is already looking like a future Heisman winner. His stat line was just ridiculous in this one which got him an absurd PFF grade of 95.3 — 295 passing yards on only 23 attempts with four touchdowns. Not to mention 66 rushing yards and another touchdown on the ground.

This Oklahoma team scares me and is finally looking like one of the best teams in the country that can compete with anybody.

Next game: vs. Kansas
My prediction: Win 63-13

4. Alabama (6-1)

Week 7 result: Defeated Mississippi State 49-9

Alabama had a bounce-back week with a 40-point win over Mississippi State. They looked like normal Alabama in this one as they absolutely dominated the game in every aspect.

The defense stepped up and looked much better in this one. They held the Bulldogs to nine points and forced three interceptions. Safety Jordan Battle had two of those interceptions including one of them that he returned for a touchdown. He was stellar in this game finishing with a PFF grade of 92.8 and has been one of the best defensive backs in the country all season long.

I can imagine Nick Saban was pretty displeased with his team’s performance a week ago and made sure that they cleaned up their mistakes in practice.

Next game: vs. Tennessee
My prediction: Win 44-20
