2. Northwestern will not score an offensive touchdown

Let’s face the facts, Northwestern does not have the strongest offense. They haven’t even faced a defense like Michigan’s yet and they’re only averaging 21 points a game. The Wildcats only scored seven points against Nebraska a few weeks ago and that defense isn’t even close to what they’re going to face this Saturday.

The over/under in this one is 50.5, according to WynnBET, and I expect the under to hit with ease. Northwestern ranks in the bottom tier of the Power Five in just about every offensive category specifically passing yards, rushing yards, and total points scored.

Simply put, the Wildcats are going to struggle to score and even move the ball downfield against Michigan. They may get a few field goals here and there and maybe even a defensive touchdown if they get lucky enough.

But I predict that Northwestern will not score a touchdown on offense in this one.
