Michigan Football: 3 bold predictions vs. Northwestern in Week 8
By Mitch Kaiser
1. Ryan Hilinski will throw his first interception of the season
Northwestern quarterback, Ryan Hilisnki, has not thrown an interception yet this season. He’s only started three games since taking over for Hunter Johnson but has yet to throw a pick.
Like I mentioned before though, this will be the best defense he’s seen so far. Michigan has only recorded three interceptions on the year but they’ve had one in each of the last two games.
In fact, starting corner Daxton Hill individually made both of those interceptions in back-to-back games and will be looking to continue his streak. I think Hill can definitely accomplish that.
But if he doesn’t, someone else in that secondary will. It’s been nearly two years and over 100 pass attempts by Hilinski since he has been picked off. But I predict that his streak will end this Saturday.
