Clemson Football: 3 Takeaways after lifeless performance vs Pitt
1. It Might be Time to Move on From Tony Elliott
Elliott has been a good offensive coordinator in recent years, but it might be time for Clemson to make a change at the position.
One thing that has been shown this season is that Clemson is having the same offensive issues, but they do not have an elite quarterback to mask them like they did with Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence.
The offensive line remains a mess and the Tigers do not have a dynamic running back like Travis Etienne to bail them out there either.
The play-calling seems stale and unimaginative and the Tigers offense has looked bad or worse in each week this season.
Clemson is one of the premier programs in the country and they can’t afford to fall too far behind other elite programs like Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State. A change probably needs to be made in order for Clemson to bounce back
