2. Tyler Allgeier averages 150 yards per game

Tyler Allgeier got off to a very slow start this season, rushing for over 100 yards just one time in the first month of play. In that span of four games, he also averaged over 5.5 yards per carry in just one contest. He didn’t look like the back everyone had expected, but he’s flat-out dominated since.

In fact, the sophomore running back has rushed for over 190 yards in 3-of-5 October games. That’s an incredible feat for the talented back.

Allgeier did take a step back in the two BYU losses, rushing for a total of 106 yards and two touchdowns on 34 carries against Boise State and Baylor. He bounced back to rush for 191 yards and two touchdowns against Washington State and then 266 yards and five scores against Virginia.

It’s not like he’s been facing pushover teams, but his next two opponents won’t be able to slow him down.

I think Allgeier averages over 150 yards per game to end the regular season with over 1,500 rushing yards and over 20 rushing scores.
