SEC Power Rankings Week 12: Florida in free fall after weeks of struggle
By Shelbie Warr
Missouri just beat South Carolina, who beat Florida, so they move up a spot in the SEC Power Rankings. However, they now face Florida on Saturday in a game that awards bowl eligibility to one team, and at this point, I am not sure who to pick. Even with Grantham gone, the Florida defense is abysmal at best and things aren’t seeming to get better. Could a win here by Missouri push Florida to fire Dan Mullen?
LSU is still two wins away from bowl eligibility after falling to Arkansas in overtime on Saturday night. Now, they must win their next two games and that may be nothing short of a miracle unless they catch the offensive-less Aggies in two weeks. However, with Ed Orgeron coaching his last two games at LSU, you never know what could happen. They should beat ULM this week, but A&M is for sure a toss-up.
Kentucky is pretty low, despite having bowl eligibility and only having three losses. However, those three losses include a loss to Tennessee and that is never one you want to have when you were considered a favorite to win the East in some circles- crazy circles albeit, but circles nonetheless. Kentucky plays New Mexico State this week in what should be an easy eighth win for the Wildcats.
