3. Will Rogers is one of the best quarterbacks in the country

Matt Corral may get top billing in this match-up, but Mississippi State sophomore quarterback Will Rogers is an equally gifted player.

The Brandon, Miss., native is second in the country in total passing yards (4,113) and sixth in touchdowns (34).

He’s a high-volume thrower in this ‘Air Raid’ offense, but he’s incredibly accurate. He regularly attempts more than 50 passes a game and enjoys a completion percentage of 76 percent this season.

Leach will find ways to scheme his receivers open and Rogers will find them, he always does.

Will Ole Miss be able to find ways to slow down the feverish pace in with the Bulldogs will play? Both of these teams have high-octane offenses which will be a thrill for fans to watch.

If Rogers has a good game and the defense steps up to slow down Corral, Mississippi State has a really good chance to win this Egg Bowl matchup with Ole Miss.
