Going back to the final seasons of when Jimbo Fisher coached Florida State, the Seminoles have struggled on the offensive line. Whether it was in pass protection or in run blocking, it has been some time since the Seminoles have been able to overwhelm opponents.

That is not going to change overnight, but getting talented prospects in recruiting is one way to get back to respectability.

Julian Armella is one of the top offensive linemen in the country and should push for playing time. This was a big recruiting win for Florida State, as Armella was being heavily pursued by other top programs.

Armella is a very strong run blocker and can get to the second level with athleticism. He should be in the mix for a starting job sooner rather than later.
