3. Drew Shelton, OT

One of the main areas that Penn State struggled with this season was their offensive line. Penn State’s running game was nonexistent at times and they struggled to pass protect.

While it can be tough for freshmen offensive linemen to get a lot of playing time, the Nittany Lions have a talented prospect in Drew Shelton.

Shelton is a 6-foot-5, 295-pound offensive tackle prospect from the state of Pennsylvania and has a lot of upside. This is one of the areas that James Franklin wanted to focus on this recruiting cycle and he got one of the best prospects not only in the state but in the country.

Shelton could start at right tackle next season and will at minimum be a guy that will be counted on for depth in 2022. This is one of Penn State’s highest upside prospects and he should make an instant impact next season.
