Pick Analysis. Gainesville, FL. 7. 817. Scouting Report. Oct 15. LSU Tigers. player

This is going to be an interesting battle between two coaches in their first year of bringing a powerhouse program back to prominence. Brain Kelly was poached from Notre Dame and will be in the midst of his first season in Baton Rouge. Both of these teams are going to be working to figure out their identity and will be hoping to make their mark in a contentious rivalry.

LSU, like Florida, is going to have a lot to figure out in their first season under Kelly. They won’t be as tested like the Gators will have to this point and that might be the difference. Expect a close and entertaining game, but the Gators come out on top for a big win.

Final Score: Florida 28, LSU 27 (5-2, 3-1 SEC)

814. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. 8. Oct 29. Jacksonville, FL. Georgia Bulldogs

This is going to be the biggest test of the season up to this point for Florida. Georgia finally was able to win a national championship and is poised to make a run for a repeat. To do that, they are going to have to go through Florida in Jacksonville and win the SEC East. This is going to be a nice barometer for Napier to see where his program is at currently and what it is going to take to close the gap with the Bulldogs.

Despite losing tons of talent to the NFL, Georgia is going to be one of the favorites to win it all next season. They recruit as well as anyone in the country and are well-coached. It won’t be a blowout like last season, but Georiga is just on another level right now.

Final Score: Florida 21, Georgia 34 (5-3, 3-2 SEC)
