Austin, TX. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 2416. Sept 3. ULM Warhawks. 1

This will be an easy opener for Sarikisan and Texas before the big game vs Alabama. ULM did win more games than some thought that they would in 2021, but it was still a bad football team. The outlook for the Warhawks is not much better in 2022.

This will be the first collegiate start for Ewers and it will be important to get him feeling confident before facing Will Anderson and Alabama. Expect some stat-padding from Texas in this one as they win big.

Final Score: Texas 49, ULM 3 (1-0)

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Sept 10. Alabama Crimson Tide. 2. player. 829. Austin, TX

This is going to be quite the scene in Austin, Texas. Alabama is going to come into town and try to bully Texas before they even make it to the SEC. The Crimson Tide are going to be motivated coming off of their national championship loss to Georgia and look to make a statement in this game. Despite losing some key players from last year’s team, Alabama made some impactful transfer additions and brought in another great recruiting class

This is going to be a huge test for Ewers and this offense. The Longhorns have playmakers in Bijan Robinson and Xavier Worthy and they could make things tough on Alabama. In the end, Alabama is just too talented and deep. Texas is not at that level of play yet and it is going to show on the field.

Final Score: Texas 17, Alabama 45 (1-1)
