Texas A&M Football: Top 3 remaining targets for 2022 National Signing Day
How could the rich possibly get any richer? Well, if you’re Texas A&M, you have to feel fortunate to be in a position to have a 28-man class already and potentially have room for 2-3 more signees.
Jacoby Mathews is ranked the No. 36 overall recruit, third-best safety, and second-best Louisiana-based prospect in the 2022 cycle, per the composite. He holds over 30 offers and has already taken three official visits with one more planned on Jan. 28 to LSU.
Unfortunately for Texas A&M, Mathews took his official back in June and he’s had a chance to check out Texas, Florida, and will see LSU on the 28th. That makes it feel like those three programs have a better chance to leave a lasting impression. But you can’t count the Aggies out yet because Jimbo Fisher is recruiting like a madman.
LSU and Texas A&M own all the crystal ball predictions for him on 247Sports and that could be a good sign for the Aggies.
If he commits to Texas A&M, that defense will be unstoppable for a long time.
