Tennessee Volunteers. 9. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Nov 5. Athens, GA. 839

For some, this is going to be said to be Georgia’s toughest game in the SEC East next season. The Volunteers had a surprisingly good season and were a fun team and offense to watch every week. Quarterback Hendon Hooker decided to come back to Knoxville for another season and like South Carolina, Tennessee has some momentum and will probably be ranked in the preseason.

With all of that being said, Georgia is going to be an improved team from the beginning of the season. All of the new starters on defense are going to be seasoned and improved and there are major questions about the Volunteers defense. Georgia football will win this game and extend its winning streak over Tennessee.

Final Score: Georgia 38, Tennessee 28 (9-0, 6-0)

player. Pick Analysis. 10. 893. Scouting Report. Nov 12. Starkville, MS. Mississippi State Bulldogs

For the other cross-over game from the SEC West, Georgia will make a rare trip to Starkville to take on Mississippi State. The Bulldogs have had a solid first couple of seasons under head coach Mike Leach and have been a tough opponent to play. Their offense is explosive through the air and their defense makes it tough on their opponents to move the ball consistently.

However, when Mississippi State has had to play teams with a  significant talent edge, their offense does not seem to be able to move the ball at the same kind of pace as usual. Georiga is still going to have an elite defense despite losing a lot of their star players and will be able to pick up a road victory against Mississippi State.

Final Score: Georgia 31, Mississippi State 10 (10-0, 7-0)
