4-star RB Jordan James from Georgia to Oregon

One of the most interesting dynamics at the start of next season will be Dan Lanning, the former Georgia defensive coordinator, taking on the Bulldogs and his old boss Kirby Smart in the 2022 season opener.

Lanning has hit the ground running out in Oregon in terms of recruiting and one of his first orders of business has been to try and flip a top-200 commitment at running back of Georgia’s in Jordan James.

James is out of Tennessee and has been committed to Georgia since March. But the 5-foot-10, 205-pound back ranked 192nd overall in the 247 sports composite rankings didn’t sign with UGA, and starting on Friday, he started to get crystal ball projections to flip to Oregon.

Georgia is expected to sign Dillon Bell, a wideout/running back that could have flipped elsewhere, and is also battling it out with Clemson for Andrew Paul, a late-riser at running back, so the Dawgs have options, but it appears that’s because James is headed West.
