Miami Football: Way-too-early 2022 game-by-game predictions
This is sure to be one of the most anticipated non-conference games of the 2022 season. Miami and Texas A&M have not met since they had a home-and-home series in 2007 and 2008, with the Hurricanes winning both games. Those were different times, but both programs are still trying to earn elite status.
Texas A&M is putting the finishing touches on signing the highest-ranked recruiting class of all time. The Aggies are hoping to take the next step and win the SEC West and then the conference.
College Station is one of the toughest places to play in the country. The Aggies are having to replace several starters, especially on defense. The guys replacing them are talented, but they are still young. There is still uncertainty about the Aggies offense as well, as they have one of the least explosive passing attacks in the country.
Texas A&M might not win the national championship this season, but they’ll find a way to take down Miami at home.
Final Score: Miami 24, Texas A&M 28 (2-1)
After losing such a tough game against Texas A&M, Miami is going to have a chance to get right by playing Middle Tennessee at home. The Blue Raiders have been on a decent run in the C-USA and have been contenders for the conference title and a bowl game for several years running.
However, the Blue Raiders are going to run into a Hurricanes team in a bad mood after a loss and Miami will get a big win before their bye week and ACC play begins.
Final Score: Miami 45, MTSU 16 (3-1)
