A one-time Texas A&M and then Oregon commit, Isaiah Sategna wasn’t one of the handfuls of Duck pledges who decommitted when Mario Cristobal decided to leave for Miami. No, he actually decommitted a month earlier in November.

Sategna decided to stay home and play for the hometown Razorbacks and Sam Pittman. He instantly became Arkansas’ top-ranked signee.

To say Sategna comes from an athletic background would be an understatement. The four-star receiver’s parents both have backgrounds in track and his mom even competed in the 1992 Olympics as a sprinter for Jamaica. Isaiah, too, runs track and his speed is what sets him apart as a top receiver in the 2022 class.

The 5-11, 170-pound receiver is definitely going to get an early opportunity with Treylon Burks and De’Vion Warren moving on. He may not be the biggest receiver on the field, but he has speed and good hands which could make him a go-to target in 2022 and beyond.

I expect a breakout season from the freshman wideout in 2022.
