Tight End

Starter: Will Mallory

Backups: Elijah Arroyo and Jaleel Skinner

Miami has one of the most storied tight end rooms in college football and seemingly always have a talented guy waiting in the wings. Mallory is back for yet another season in Miami and while he might not be a future first-round pick, he brings stability to the position. Mallory is going to have to be more consistent catching the ball, as drops were a problem at times last season.

Last season’s backup was talented freshman Elijah Arroyo and he should still be a factor in 2022. The guy that could be the next great tight end at Miami might be Jaleel Skinner.

Skinner was the top-ranked tight end in the country and a longtime Alabama commitment. Cristobal showed off his elite recruiting skills by flipping Skinner when he was just weeks on the job. Look for Skinner to get plenty of looks in 2022.
