Conner Weigman

Conner Weigman will be heading into his first season with the Aggies in 2022 and part of Texas A&M’s profound 2022 recruiting class. Though he has not seen the field in college so far, Weigman could easily find a starting role with the Aggies sooner rather than later.

A native of Texas, Weigman is rated as a five-star prospect by 247Sports. Weigman ranks as the No. 22 overall prospect and the No. 2 quarterback in his recruiting class. He has all of the talent, tangibles, and weapons to be a collegiate football star and TAMU.

"“Requisite height with a good, stout build. Strong through the lower half, which serves as the engine to arm strength and big-play running ability.” – Gabe Brooks on Conner Weigman."

With a potential generational talent on the roster, Jimbo Fisher needs to be careful not to sit Weigman for too long. Especially with the addition of the transfer portal, the Aggies could see Weigman decide to leave if forced to sit more than a season or two.

With a lot of depth at the quarterback position, expect at least one of TAMU’s quarterbacks to transfer out in the near future. For the Aggies’ sake, fans should hope that Weigman chooses to stay.
