Deshawn Woods is one of the highest-rated recruits on this list. Formerly a Missouri commitment, he signed with Wyoming in February.

At 6-3 and weighing 270 pounds, he’s a little small for an offensive lineman at the FBS level. But, what makes Woods such a highly-rated prospect is that he has very strong fundamentals. His stance is perfect, he gets out quick on run blocks, and he’s a nasty blocker that definitely plays through the whistle.

If he can put on about 30 quality pounds during his career, he’s got a shot at the NFL.

Matthew Golden has the distinction of being the highest-rated recruit that committed to a Group of Five college football team.

The four-star receiver is 6-foot and weighs 190 pounds. That isn’t particularly big, but he is very fast. He ran a sub-11 second 100-meter dash, and his film shows a kid that can go past any corner he sees. His route running is also at a level that most high school players aren’t at.

In Dana Holgorsen’s system, the kid is perfect. He can line up at either flanker or the slot, and contribute in the run game, too.
