College Football: 10 Group of Five Signees to watch in 2022
By Kathryn Rose
There are certain players that when one puts on their film, they start laughing because of how outmatched their opponents are.
Dishawn Misa is one of those guys.
Misa was a four-star recruit coming in, and yet, how he wasn’t rated higher is a mystery. He’s a game-breaking linebacker who will play in the NFL.
There is no running back that is safe from this man. He doesn’t fly through gaps, as much as he vaporizes himself through them. In the pass game, he’s also good at finding slot guys and covering them up.
JQ Hardaway tops this list, due to a wonderful combination of size, speed, and intelligence at cornerback.
At 6-foot-2, he’s at a great height for the NFL already, and his sheer length suggests he can play taller than that. He’s very fast and able to stay on top of any receiver he’s manned up on. On interception returns, he shows off the burner, outrunning high-level players as if they were nothing.
He’s also highly intelligent and understands technique at a level that will allow him to get on the field early. Even at Cincinnati, he’ll be playing as a freshman.
