Offensive Line

Starting Left Tackle: Miles Frazier

Backup: Cameron Wire

Starting Left Guard: Marlon Martinez

Backup: Kardell Thomas

Starting Center: Tre’Mond Shorts

Backup: Emery Jones

Starting Right Guard: Anthony Bradford

Backup: Marcus Dumervil

Starting Right Tackle: Garrett Dellinger

Backup: Will Campbell

This is another position that LSU has a lot of things to figure out this spring. They made sure to get some transfers to help immediately, but they will need some of the guys from past years’ recruiting classes to step up. How good this offensive line is may determine how effective the LSU offense can be in 2022.

At left tackle, expect FIU transfer, Miles Frazier, to step into the starting spot. Frazier was one of the most sought-after players in the transfer portal and LSU was fortunate to land him over the other programs. Cameron Wire played last year but has trouble staying healthy, so he might be relegated to a backup role in 2022.

Marlon Martines is expected to be the starter at left guard. His projected backup, Kardell Thomas, is a former blue-chip recruit but has not been able to make an impact yet. This will be his best chance to do that. East Tennessee State transfer Tre’Mond Shorts is going to have a good shot at locking up the center job this spring over Emery Jones.

Anthony Bradford and Garrett Dellinger will round out the right side of the line. One freshman to watch is Will Campbell. Campbell was one of LSU’s highest-rated recruits in 2022 and could find his way on the field if needed.
