Tight End

Starter: Austin Stogner

Backup: E.J. Jenkins

Rattler is not the only impact transfer coming from Oklahoma. Sooners tight end Austin Stogner is pairing up with his old quarterback and heading east to Columbia to give Rattler a familiar face at tight end.

Stogner has not been able to put together a full season yet that matches his talent level, but the potential is there. A lot of programs were hoping to convince Stogner to come to play for them and South Carolina is hoping that he can finally live up to his high ceiling.

With Bell possibly playing more of a receiver role this year, E.J. Jenkins is likely to be the backup tight end again this season. Jenkins has the size and should be utilized more often in red-zone situations. There is some talent in this room and it will be interesting to see how they are used.
