Texas A&M is loaded with talent

Last year, Texas A&M football ranked ninth according to the blue-chip ratio put together by 247 sports Bud Elliot. That corresponds to the number of recruits a team signs that are ranked as four and five-star prospects.

The Aggies were at 61 percent last year, which is an average of the previous four-year period. But after a blue-chip ratio close to 100 in 2022, the Aggies should be moving up. A&M has been recruiting at an elite level for years under Fisher and it’s should start to pay off in a big way this season.

Texas A&M may not see immediate dividends for its 2022 recruiting class but there is so much young talent on this roster from guys like Walter Nolen and Enai White. The Aggies have put themselves in that elite group of teams talent-wise along with Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, and the rest.

Everything is set for Texas A&M to finally join the elites and one reason is their national-championship winning head coach. Fisher has done this before at Florida State and starting in 2022, the Aggies should be a yearly contender for both the playoff and the national title.
