Arkansas Football: 3 breakout candidates for spring 2022
Ketron Jackson was one of the top recruits for Arkansas in the 2021 class and he was being targeted by a number of elite programs but he didn’t quite have an immediate impact.
Jackson played in just four games and had five catches for 97 yards and a touchdown but he has some incredible potential. He should be projected as a starter for the 2022 season and if he does crack that starting lineup, I see big things from him.
With Treylon Burks gone, the Razorbacks need a new No. 1 receiver to step up. Will it be Warren Thompson or Jadon Haselwood? It’s possible, but even if one of those two become the go-to target for KJ Jefferson, he’ll need a secondary and tertiary receiver. I think Jackson has the potential to eventually be a No. 1 receiver, but being WR2 or WR3 this year wouldn’t be bad.
Arkansas had just one receiver with more than 350 receiving yards last season but I think the Razorbacks could have at least three and Jackson will be one of them.
