Josh Chandler, LB (West Virginia)

Speaking of linebackers, if Nebraska football isn’t able to land Jennings or doesn’t want to pursue him after he’s left two schools in the past few months, another transfer portal option at linebacker right now is Josh Chandler.

Chandler was expected back at West Virginia this season for a sixth year. He was projected to start as a linebacker for the Mountaineers and finished with over 100 tackles last season. He’s got 257 for his career and plenty of experience for the middle of Nebraska’s defense.

At 5-foot-10, 226 pounds Chandler also offers something a little different. He was a productive tackler but also intercepted two passes and broke up three others last season.

As the 25th-ranked prospect in the transfer portal right now, there is certainly going to be some competition for Chandler, but the Huskers need experience at linebacker and they have an ideal role available for the West Virginia transfer.
