Arkansas Football: 3 things to watch in 2022 spring game
1. The reloaded secondary
Arkansas lost three starters from that back-five last season and while that usually puts a damper on the outlook of a position group, there’s a good chance the defensive backfield could be the strength of the Razorbacks in 2022.
Despite losing three starters, the Razorbacks return LaDarrius Bishop, Hudson Clark, Khari Johnson, Jalen Catalon, Myles Slusher, and Malik Chavis and bring in Latavious Brini (Georgia) and Dwight McGlothern (LSU) from the transfer portal. This secondary seems fairly loaded and has plenty of experience.
While the secondary was fairly strong last season, there’s reason to believe it’ll be even better in 2022 and we’re going to get the first glance at it on Saturday.
We aren’t seeing a full-fledged scrimmage like we have in years past but this is a good opportunity for this position group to show off its depth and talent in front of fans.
